ONE YEAR!

Happy Birthday LIFEINSPIRIA

Yesterday has now been one year since I started this BLOG!

(was unable to post this on the date of the birthday...)

In conclusion I have posted less than I expected when starting this BLOG and have not included all the sort of things I wished… food, decorating lifestyle etc..

I have posted my projects and tried to explain the process of how I executed each one hoping to help people inspire themselves to do the same. As I mention I am not a designer and only have the immense desire to create new things.

Looking back to my first post Inspired By Others I still get inspired by others over videos on youtube and posts on Instagram and facebook.

These are the finished projects this year that I have posted on...

Over this year one of the great accomplishment´s  I have achieved is the ability I now have of being able to read written patterns, oh yes I have overcome that, and it has expanded my knowledge on crochet. I have also now subscribed for the first time ever an online course on crochet … will keep you apprised of that.

And now sewing … Yes I am now diving onto sewing! Let´s see how that adventure goes … I found the need to dive into sewing for the linings of my crochet bags and also want to mix up crochet and fabric however I still have nothing to post on this particular item, only unfinished projects…

I still have many a many unfinished projects as per below you can see some… (already including sewing)

And more un finished projects ... I do belive that unfimnished projects or WIP's as they are called are somthinmg of a normal for crochet, always so many idaes burning ... and waitig to be executed !

All in all I post less than I had initially thought as I mentioned because in reality in order to have a Blog that is more of a hobby at least for now, I find it very hard to keep up with the creating part which I love and the content creating (never thought I would discuss this). You have to take photos, you have to find the time to write the Blog and then you have to design the blog post to make it appealing . Do not get me started on Instagram I am not a wizz on Instagram and the posts sometimes do not turnout as expected and I have no idea what I am doing … it is a laugh  every time I post, thank god for Canva my best friend in this BLOG / Instagram adventure … never in a million years had I thought that this BLOG would be so hard to feed … and then at the beginning I had this rule that I would only post on the Instagram when I posted on the BLOG well that is not very realistic… have changed that approach to include small snippets of the project I am working on but still … have not found the balance between posting on the BLOG and on INSTAGRAM.

I have found a great respect to all those whom have a BLOG or are content creators you have to be a photographer, a writer and still have to find time to do you what you like so that you may document it … in my case create things …

However reaching the One Year mark I find I do not want to give it up, I am having fun despite the stress it causes me amid wanting to create more and always having new ideas thus the various unfinished projects and having the maerial and time to make posts!

I have discovered that BLOG´s are now out of style and Instagram is where all is done but I still believe that a Blog Post is … well more permanent.

For this year I hope to expand on the type contents I want to include in my blog, and try to post more, maybe even write more patterns and prepare a youtube tutorial, have a business based on LIFEINSPIRIA, let´s see where next year takes LifeInspiria to! But first and foremost, it has to be fun and hopefully less stressful as I get more knowledgeable on the various media platforms.
